we are now REOPENED with the following updates to our salon regarding the ongoing covid-19 pandemic:

Reminder that this pandemic is still ongoing. Local restrictions have been lifted, but we are still living with the virus. To best protect you, ourselves, and those we go home to, we have made the following changes to how our salon operates. We thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.

 
 

Increased sanitaTion

We have increased our sanitation practices and procedures throughout the salon: treatment room, waiting room, and reception desk. There is a thorough sanitation between appointments of all contact items and surfaces. This of course increases the time required between appointments.

Masks are required to be worn when entering and exiting the salon. If and when necessary for the service, and only after we have outfitted ourselves with the proper additional PPE (personal protective equipment), you will be informed when you can remove your mask. If you forget your mask, or do not own one, we do have some disposable masks available, as well as reusable cloth masks for purchase.

 

Fewer Daily Appointments

Due to increased sanitation practices and procedures, we cannot offer the same number of appointments in a single day. We understand this will inevitably create longer appointment lead times. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Limit on Electrolysis Duration

We have introduced new PPE (personal protective equipment) to better protect our clients and ourselves: face masks & face shields. This does, however, limit our ability to provide longer electrolysis appointment times due to the service’s inherent need for close proximity and the restrictions given by the PPE.

Preferred Payment Methods

While we will continue to accept cash and check payments, we express preference to credit/debit cards or contactless payment methods when available. We kindly ask you use these methods whenever possible.

How You Can Support Us

If you’d like to support us as a local small business, but you’re uncomfortable coming in for an appointment, that’s okay! We respect your choice and continue to wish you safety and good health. There are still ways you can support us from a distance.

All our products are still available for purchase!

You can order online to be shipped to your home or picked up in store. You can also order by calling us at (319) 373-9596, or if you would like personal recommendations.

Digitial gift cards

E-Gift Cards are available for purchase for use when we’re on the other side of this.

The digital gift cards can also be sent to another person as an instant or scheduled gift for digital delivery on a chosen date!

Only Essentials

Please bring only essential personal items with you into the salon (phone, wallet, keys).

No guests

Please come alone. No additional guests may join you for your appointment.

Masks

Please wear a mask when entering and exiting the salon. When required for a service, you may remove your mask in the treatment room, with Teresa in full PPE.

Sanitize

Upon entering, please sanitize your hands using the sanitizer provided in the entryway.
